Members thefanninator Posted February 6, 2018 Members Report Posted February 6, 2018 I recently commissioned a friend who does woodcraft to make a box to hold my linen thread spools. The base is made from Cherry with Wenge corner pins. The top is a 39-piece mosaic made from wenge, sapele, maple, chakte, zebrawood, purpleheart and rosewood. Members thefanninator Posted February 6, 2018 Author Members Report Posted February 6, 2018 Thanks. Yeah it beats the plastic box I had it in. Makes the shop (garage) look a little nicer. Quote http://www.instagram.com/fannintexas/

bikermutt07 Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 Isn't it amazing how awesome something as simple as a box can be? That is some fantastic work. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
