Members thefanninator Posted February 6, 2018 Members Report Posted February 6, 2018 I recently commissioned a friend who does woodcraft to make a box to hold my linen thread spools. The base is made from Cherry with Wenge corner pins. The top is a 39-piece mosaic made from wenge, sapele, maple, chakte, zebrawood, purpleheart and rosewood. Members thefanninator Posted February 6, 2018 Author Members Report Posted February 6, 2018 Thanks. Yeah it beats the plastic box I had it in. Makes the shop (garage) look a little nicer. Quote http://www.instagram.com/fannintexas/
Members DJole Posted February 6, 2018 Members Report Posted February 6, 2018 I love fine woodwork, and that is some FINE woodwork. What a handsome, colorful place for your colorful thread to hang out in! Quote \D. Jole \ --> <http://djole.altervista.org/djole/Publications/Leather/Lindex.htm>

Members rodneywt1180b Posted February 7, 2018 Members Report Posted February 7, 2018 Your friend went above and beyond on that. My wife wouldn't let me keep something that nice in the shop. Quote
