Members Gus90 Posted March 14, 2018 Members Report Posted March 14, 2018 I had a guy from work bring this knife and sheath to me to see if I could fix it..... I told him it would be easier and cheaper for me to just make him a new one and he was ok with that idea. I just finished it last night and am pretty happy with how it turned out. Quote

alpha2 Posted March 14, 2018 Report Posted March 14, 2018 Your friend must be thrilled! I do like the various methods employed to keep the old sheath going, and going, and going. Quote So much leather...so little time.

That's what i was thinking, too. Would have been cool to see some type of "rope edge" stitch to suit what he had done. STILL, the replacement look purdy durn good.. consistent stamping and tight stitching -- looks good. Quote "Observation is 9/10 of the law." Members KittenThrasher Posted March 15, 2018 Members Report Posted March 15, 2018 Looks like he'll be needing a new knife to go with the nice new sheath. Quote
Members MarkCdub Posted March 15, 2018 Members Report Posted March 15, 2018 Really nice, that will outlast the knife. Quote
bikermutt07 Posted March 15, 2018 Report Posted March 15, 2018 Great job. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
