Retswerb Report post Posted April 27, 2018 Hi all, Here’s a sleeve I made for my wife’s favorite mug for her birthday today. Kind of hard to get a picture that shows it all. Just a simple design but she liked it, so: mission accomplished. The mug came with a silicone sleeve, so there’s a convenient indentation all the way around that the sleeve fits into. Now we’ll see how it fits after it wears in and stretches a bit.

bullmoosepaddles Report post Posted April 28, 2018 Whale of a job. Love the angled stitching. Is there a reason for it other than aesthetics?
Retswerb Report post Posted April 30, 2018 Thanks guys! The angle was just a whim, I had my paper template cut straight but decided to cut the leather like that instead. Sometimes those last-minute decisions bite me in the rear, this time I think it enhanced the project overall.
