Cool inlay, this was what i was imagining when responding to a post about cross-stitch punches for leather...can't remember who was asking, but my suggestion was pretty much what you have here.

Thanks

My wife is Metis so she does the beading and I was looking at her work and trying to incorporate it into the my leather work and this is what I came up with.

I picked a Crocus because it always was one of the first flowers to bloom in the spring where I grew up.

Only potential problem I can see is the stitching on the front of the pouch. I reckon sliding a revolver in and out is soon going to wear through the stitching on the inside as it's just about where the cylinder will rub?

There is no stitching on the inside the holster is lined so it will not wear.

Nice! Those open-top 1871's are beautiful. I wanted to get a couple for CAS, unfortunately I would have had to import them to Oz (lots of hassles and $$$) so picked up a couple of Vaqueros instead.

Agreed on the 1871's but Vaqueros are not shabby either!

True, but those 1871's have that "cool" factor, in my opinion.

Scooby, exactly what does an idiot feel like?;)
