Hey guys just wanna see if I can get some feedback from the progression between the 2 sheaths.  The first knife I made is a hunting/skinner made from 1095 steel grinded at a 22 degree angle with a rockwell hardness of around 58.  The second knife is a bushcraft knife also made from 1095 steel ground at a 25 degree angle and also has a rockwell hardness around 58.

Second sheath looks much better than the first!  Edges look finished and smaller stitching is more appeal8ngnto the eye.  Well done!

Night and Day!

If that's your first and second sheath, I can't wait to see your 5th or 6th!
Remarkable improvement!

Nice! Did you wet mold the larger one?

It can help to add a narrow strip of leather spacer around and between the layers so that the blade does not cut the thread, this way the edges are three layers instead of two

Great progress between the two products. Was the leather pre-dyed or did you dye it yourself?

I died it and finished it with a 50/50 water resolene finish.
