Seat for a Freemason

Carved and dyed and laced with Kangaroo. This was a hefty one.

Great work, I would have assumed Kangaroo would be to thin the tool, but you did a great job

Thanks, Only the lace is Kangaroo. My first one of this size with all veg-tan leather.

Very nice work! 

How did you attach your cover to the seat pan?

Did you experiment with your dyes to make sure that there is no color transfer to the riders pants?

I hope you got a lot for it as you know those ol' Freemasons control the purse strings of the world!

Hi Sam! It's stapled to the pan. Shouldn't be any transfer on the dye. I tan cote and used leather balm for the finish. I'm sure I didn't charge enough but it was a first for this size.
