Members Madmax500000 Posted December 28, 2018 Members Report Posted December 28, 2018 (edited) I was gifted a box of boot tops in trade for a purse made out of some of them earlier this year. I had been putting it off due to not having a machine capable of the task. Still don’t have the machine I need but I’m working on that. There is definitely a learning curve in bag building but I learned a few things in the process. All in all it turned out better than I had expected. All part of the purse are up-cycled from other items except the strip of veg tan around the bottom. Kinda nice to give something a new life. Everything was sewn on a Japanese singer 15 clone. Rockoboy Posted December 29, 2018 Report Posted December 29, 2018 That thing looks like a BEAST! but a good job all round Is it really heavy? There is something I can't quite put my finger on ... Got it! Is the buckle on upside down, or is it just me? Quote
Members Madmax500000 Posted December 29, 2018 Author Members Report Posted December 29, 2018 Well it is big for sure but that’s what they wanted. It’s a little on the heavy side but it’s built to last. And as for the buckle that looks upside down if you turn it around the other way it tries to undue it’s self. Quote
Rockoboy Posted December 29, 2018 Report Posted December 29, 2018 If its what you wanted, then you nailed it. If that's the way the buckle goes, that's the way it is, don't even bother with what I said. Quote
bikermutt07 Posted December 29, 2018 Report Posted December 29, 2018 That's what I call badass. Great job. Quote
