Members benlilly1 Posted January 2, 2019 Members Report Posted January 2, 2019 This was a stressful seat and a deadline. Not knowing how to go about it, it turned out better than I expected but room for improvement. Quote
Members LeatherLegion Posted January 2, 2019 Members Report Posted January 2, 2019 That's a very nice seat !!! I guess forming the metal "frame" on top was stressful part . Quote

I guess forming the metal "frame" on top was stressful part . Thanks! Yes, 1) Forming foam to fit in the open areas and allowing for the leather. 2) stitching diamond pattern in 5 oz. veg tan and I've never done it before after forming. 3) realizing that when you build up from underneath the top piece grows bigger (chrome piece) 4 minutes ago, VYO said: Really nice seat! Members SickMick Posted January 2, 2019 Members Report Posted January 2, 2019 Well done! That's a tough job there. That center piece would be a bugger to work around. Quote
Members ScoobyNewbie Posted January 2, 2019 Members Report Posted January 2, 2019 That is so cool! Quote
alpha2 Posted January 2, 2019 Report Posted January 2, 2019 Fantastic seat! A learning experience, (which are much easier without the deadline)! You totally nailed it. I wonder how those bumps on the perimeter feel after about 50 miles...I don't ride, so maybe they don't even notice. Jeff Quote
