Members GrayHallidayJr Posted February 10, 2019 Members Report Posted February 10, 2019 It’s been a while since I’ve been at the bench. Here’s one for a cinnamon girl. Quote

I was feeling a little out of practice and this one took longer than before I took a 9 month break. I moved and had my tools boxed away. Just took a long time to get unpacked and set up. Quote
Members YinTx Posted February 11, 2019 Members Report Posted February 11, 2019 Great to see you back at it. 9 months is a spell, you didn't miss a beat! Awesome work. YinTx Quote

Members noobleather Posted February 12, 2019 Members Report Posted February 12, 2019 I don't know what a cinnamon girl is but she is lucky to have such a cool belt. Love the carving and colouring. Top wotk Quote
Members hawgrider Posted February 12, 2019 Members Report Posted February 12, 2019 Very detailed! Nice ! Quote
Members mike6642 Posted February 13, 2019 Members Report Posted February 13, 2019 One day I got to try doing some belts like yours. I really like that look. Very nice. Quote
Members battlemunky Posted February 13, 2019 Members Report Posted February 13, 2019 Man I'm glad you a back Gray, I've missed your "youness". Yet another great bit of work. Did you always do that fine line work or is that something new you picked up? The knuckles on the girl's hand and the ruffling, specifically. I don't recall seeing it on your other works. @GrayHallidayJr Quote
Members Sofaspud Posted February 14, 2019 Members Report Posted February 14, 2019 I love your unique style. Glad to see you back. Quote

Top wotk A Neal Young song reference for a cute hippie girl. She knows a lot about the moon. Thanks! On 2/12/2019 at 4:29 AM, hawgrider said: Very detailed! Nice ! Thank you! It always comes out messed up. Like an adolescent cartoonist got hold of some leather tools. On 2/12/2019 at 5:45 PM, battlemunky said: Man I'm glad you a back Gray, I've missed your "youness". I’ve never taken a class or anything so I’m just making stuff up as I go along. 17 hours ago, Sofaspud said: I love your unique style. Glad to see you back. Thanks! It’s a bit wacky. It’s always inspiring to see the work of others. It makes me want to improve. Quote
