Members Carnivore Posted March 10, 2019 Members Report Posted March 10, 2019 I just finished my first purse, which was a gift for my wife. The leather is veg - tan 4-5 oz, with embossed crocodile pattern and the color is Tandy - Eco-Flo stain ( Bordeaux). The inside has eight card slots and a zippered compartment. Dimensions are approx. 9.5" x 5.5" x 2.5" deep. Quote
Members Riem Posted March 10, 2019 Members Report Posted March 10, 2019 Looks very good for a first one. Machine or hand stitched, if I may ask? Members datdraku Posted March 13, 2019 Members Report Posted March 13, 2019 Nice work, i like it. Would have been good if the imprint could have been symmetric Quote

This is why I like to show other leather crafters my efforts, often they will notice details I overlooked. It's all part of the learning process. Quote

bikermutt07 Posted March 24, 2019 Report Posted March 24, 2019 Bravo! Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
