Members dikman Posted April 20, 2019 Members Report Posted April 20, 2019 Wow! That is impressive. Very nice carving. And, as mike said, very clear photo. Quote
Contributing Member fredk Posted April 20, 2019 Contributing Member Report Posted April 20, 2019 I concur . . . . agree; An excellent photo. Nicely focused, well lit with the right amount of skiffing light, well exposed and the rough log[?] background is a great contrast to the smooth leatherwork Quote
Members Vikefan Posted April 21, 2019 Members Report Posted April 21, 2019 That's an awesome rig, you are an artist! How long you been doing this? Vikefan Quote
Members plinkercases Posted April 21, 2019 Members Report Posted April 21, 2019 Very very nice sir. What is the finish you used? Quote
Members Chakotay Posted April 21, 2019 Author Members Report Posted April 21, 2019 Thanks guys. The image was taken with my phone. The background is an old stump that has deteriorated quite a bit over the years (plus we've had a lot of rain recently so there's some mold/fungus in the mix). So natural sunlight, but in the shade. I've discovered that is the key to decent photos. After tooling, I dyed with Fiebings and finished with neatsfoot. Quote
garypl Posted April 22, 2019 Report Posted April 22, 2019 Great looking holster and photography! Gary Quote
