Members battlemunky Posted August 29, 2019 Author Members Report Posted August 29, 2019 Agreed @garypl. I think next time I'll got with the solid brass ez rivets instead of the heavy duty rivets. I couldn't finish them as well as I'd have liked and they are a bit prouder than I usually set them. Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted August 29, 2019 Contributing Member Report Posted August 29, 2019 I'm still wanting a matching leather strap But now that I see it, I gotta admit that actually does work here. bikermutt07 Posted August 29, 2019 Report Posted August 29, 2019 Awesome job, Munk. I always leave the edges on the pull-up raw. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Members blue duck Posted August 29, 2019 Members Report Posted August 29, 2019 Very nice. And most importantly, if Mrs. M is happy, then that settles it. Now you can hang it up and look at it for four months. Quote May God Smile on you today.
Members battlemunky Posted August 30, 2019 Author Members Report Posted August 30, 2019 Thanks everyone! It's going in a box to await her other Christmas presents. My wife is making her a body pillowcase with floppy flowers all over it (my son is in the USN and will be gone all the time so she'll have a snuggle buddy) and my daughter is making her a crocheted blanket for laying on the couch.
