Trying to make a lot of sample projects for show & tell. Got about twelve others on the drawing board.

Really nice carving!  The last picture shows a circular piece - how big is it?

Thanks. It's 12" for a stool cover. Picked the stool up off the curb and refurbished it. Just need to tack it on. the design can easily be scaled down and used for the center of a clock face. Hmmmmmm, I think I just added another project to my ever growing list.

Those pieces are just beautiful:)

I have a question about the lettering, how in the world did you do that?  I can't even do a 4 letter word in a straight line:dunno:

I just carefully traced the letters from printing on vellum. they are about 3/4" tall so it was very tedius steep beveling and smoothing with a stylus tool. Hand painted with dye (I'll use acrylic paint next time) with a "two hair" brush. Labor of love! $275 made it worth the efort.
