Members Rolandranch Posted March 5, 2020 Members Report Posted March 5, 2020 Hello! First time doing filigree and yes, I got a 2" slot punch! Pretty happy with how it turned out. Quote

Members HaloJones Posted March 5, 2020 Members Report Posted March 5, 2020 Looking good, really nice contrast with the blue Quote
Members TSes Posted March 5, 2020 Members Report Posted March 5, 2020 Very nice work. I like the knife also. Reminds me of an old Bob Loveless style knife, but I don't know for sure if he ever used Damascus. Quote
Members Scoutmom103 Posted March 6, 2020 Members Report Posted March 6, 2020 Very nice. I like the blue. Really pops the work. Quote
Members blue duck Posted March 6, 2020 Members Report Posted March 6, 2020 Nice work. What really caught my eye was the back. Quote

Members Blacksmith Posted March 8, 2020 Members Report Posted March 8, 2020 Very fine work indeed, be proud. Gorgeous knife too, by the way. That is Damascus steel, formed by layering two or more types of steel and forge welding them together to form a billet which can then be forged into a blade. I am a noob here, leatherworking is something which interests me though. Have been blacksmithing for years and wish to get into making my own knife sheaths. If you are in Tucson and are interested in banging on some metal check out the ABANA group there, azblacksmiths dot org. Cheers, Dan. Quote
Members Sofaspud Posted March 19, 2020 Members Report Posted March 19, 2020 Looks great, like all of your stuff. Very impressive. I've been doing leather work for a long time, maybe some day I will do something that nice. Very impressive swivel knife skills. Quote

Members leather671 Posted March 22, 2020 Members Report Posted March 22, 2020 They are beautiful,, I use a similar pattern for pistol holsters Quote

Members Vikefan Posted March 30, 2020 Members Report Posted March 30, 2020 Very beautiful work! Kudos!!! Quote
Members AdamZ Posted March 31, 2020 Members Report Posted March 31, 2020 Beautiful - the sheath not only looks great on it's own but really compliments that knife nicely. Would be nice if the red in the pin on the knife was a similar blue to that on the sheath though perhaps. Quote
Members AzShooter Posted June 21, 2020 Members Report Posted June 21, 2020 Most Impressive! I really like the contrast on #1 and the simplicity of #2. Both are magnificent creations. Thanks for sharing. Quote
