As of 10/01, 43 of 50 states now collect sales tax whether they are located in your state or not. Are we all complying with fed law?

Okay, that was good stuff. Thread about copying others, closed just as I was delivering THE response. Just to good to waste, so I'll put it here. Doesnt matter if nobody reads it... Im usually just talking to myself anyway ________________________ Not enforcing a rule doesn't make you guilty of breaking it. People are shot every day. Prostitutes run rampant (and I hear many dressed like girls arent' even girls ). Illegals jump our U.S. borders at will with kidnap victims and drugs. The fact that I didn't stop them doesn't mean I "condone" any of it. There's a guy right now, claims to be from South Carolina. Got a web site selling holsters, CL…

What software are we using? About time to renew, and I'd almost prefer something that takes less time to input. OR something that would create an order list WHILE entering the transaction.... maybe.... What are you using, and why"?

What are we doing about the EVER INCREASING number of states requiring tax collection on "out of state" sales? First of Feb (19) adds some more. You Alybammy folk, I'm talkin' bout the revenuers Yes, I know many will put their head in the sand and ignore it.. I mean the actual businesses. Really not necessary to reply to say "i'm a hobby, so I act like I didnt' get any money from it". I'm not the ignore the issue guy, but I'm also not the global conglomerate with teams of tax lawyers to handle all that in my absence.

I've never sold in bulk before to any retailers. I work alone out of a spare bedroom and have no heavy machinery, cutting dies, etc. They asked if I do bulk pricing as they are interested in 1100 of my $35 luggage tags. This is my Etsy listing price. I'd want to buy a leather sewing machine, dies for the two pieces, a way to press the dies. And probably a way to neaten up the edges very quickly. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks.

I've had this happen to me twice now. Buyer orders item, needs to provide info on style/size, never answers e-mails/convos. Both times, it was a Western Hatband, requiring hat circumference and tooling style choice. I finally refunded the first one. This one I have sent messages to the buyer, (already paid!), requesting the info so I can get started on the hatband. No replies, no complaints that it hasn't been shipped, nuthin'. The buyer this time, has been a member of Etsy since 2016, but has no favorite shops, no favorites on items, no purchases. Nothing except this order since 2016. Weird. I've been sitting back and waiting to see if they ever even show that they order…

Had a guy show up this morning, wants to sell me new windows. Wife wasn't around when they got here 40 minutes EARLY for the appointment. I questioned it when his cost for the bay window sounded like about TWICE what it should be. His response -- you guessed it - "you get what you pay for". PRESSED on him a bit, (I'm actually pretty good at asking questions that get to the heart of the matter) and it turns out that he's including the price of a building permit (city's "cut") in EACH window. So not based on city code, but more of a "add $200 to each window" mentality. So I'm clearly NOT "getting what I paid for" if I'm paying for a separate permit for each window…

I am looking into a webshop, and have narrowed my search down to one main supplier, EKM; a UK based company, to be my shop host. I would be grateful for any comments regarding EKM, from a user point of view, so that I can make an informed decision. Please feel free to PM me if there is anything a wee bit contentious, that you'd rather keep away from the wider audience, I can be discreet Thanks guys Harry
