Any of you chaps familiar with this machine? Similar to a Landis Model D I gather? I'll be picking it up tomorrow and will get a better idea of what it needs as far as parts go but looking forward to adding this to the shop. Thinking it will work nicely on a servo motor with a momentary foot pedal.

I’ve been able to find a USMC C type clicker! Owner says he’s replaced the motor, and can not get clutch and brake to work right since! Anyone familiar with this machine?

I posted this in the wrong section I think. I have an opportunity to purchase a Cobra AK20 leather strap cutter. They want $1000 for it with no accessories, blades or anything else. Just the machine and table looks like. They don't seem to know anything about it but they know it was barely used somehow. Is this worth the gamble or should I pass on it? Thanks

Guys & gals I been wanting a clicker press for mainly T-pockets for wallets. They are timely to make to me. So I was looking into cheap clicker presses, till I can afford a big one. Well I went ahead & ordered 1 in hopes it would do my T-pockets & 4" square coasters. What do you guys & gals think? Will 1.5tons be sufficient? Thanks.

Hi - Another tyro newbie seeking advice. I have acquired the splitter shown attached. While it is clear how to split. I wondered if there is a tecnique to taper skive my strap ends. If you use a similar vintage machine I would be grateful for any advice on practical usage.

Found this for sale locally. Needs some freshening up and part replacement. Is this a good investment? It is between this and the cobra skiver, which most likely will be new and more expensive.
