This is a great place to post pics your latest work. Please understand that as the threads get older, we're going to move the topics to the area they "fit", for example, bikes or holsters, just to keep this section manageable, and help the newer folks find lots of pics of the subjects they are interested in. If I have moved your post to the wrong area, please TELL me so I can fix it. Please don't be upset when I move an older post- it actually helps more people to find it. It also helps when we use descriptive titles. "Recent Projects" isn't as likely to get clicks as "Harley Saddlebags and Seat" or "Civil War Holster and Belt". To post your pics, use the "browse" …

Wanted a tobacco pouch, the catch was finding the proper liner to keep the moisture in and maintain flavor. Had to hand sew due to the one piece design. The zipper wasn't possible to seperate causing the issue, plus working on a way to hold it together while using the pricking irons my line wobble. Will try it out and think of ways to improve the process.

Hey everybody! This is my first post in a while. I just got this portfolio finished up for a customer and felt like it was worth sharing. This may be my favorite thing I've ever made! What do y'all think?

We're a family of Scrabble nuts and I've just finished making this Scrabble bag as a 30th birthday present for my son. The board itself is a leather circle with metal pins to hold the letters in place (aluminium for "power squares", eg, double letter, copper for the rest). The board is folded round a 4" cylinder (made with box-stitched and piped ends) and attached to it with studs, the cylinder holds letters, racks, etc., plus anything else you might want to carry! All stitching is either saddle stitch or box stitch. Having done a bit of woodwork over the years I'm new to leatherwork, and struggling a bit to get used to it: I'm using a block plane and fat (2") ja…

Hi, after seeing all of your amazing work, I feel a bit insecure about showing my work, but maybe I learn a thing or two and might also encourage others to put themselves out there. So here are all the collars I made so far (not many): 1st (mid 2024 after a break in leather work for a few years): Then I continued to pad collars: First collars for a friend: A little colour experiment - we still take out sometimes: Several collars I made just for fun and to use up some scraps: Here I only did the rhinestone work: Another collar: Our everyday collar made from Goat and Buttero leather: …

This is my first wallet and attempt at stitching. 4-5 chrome tan leather. Never mind the cross, I had a brain fart and thought I try stamping that after it was put together. Been carrying it for about a month.

I had a costumer that wanted a new belt with his nickname and some tooling on it. I primarily make holsters and I'll cut a few straps for belts out of a side before I go to town on holster making. Well I ran out if belt straps quicker than I did the rest of the side, and didn't need or want to down 330 bucks on a side right now since I'm stocked up with what I need. I went onto weaver's site and found that they're selling Hermann Oak English bridle belt straps, which are veg tanned. It took me awhile to find the information here on how to properly case bridle leather. It's not the same as HO strap or holster tanned sides at all. I soaked the strap, left it in the fridge o…

I made a new case by expanding the case that came with my ray-bans, I was going to reuse the plastic frame that came with it by it cracked when I was taking it out. So taped it and reused it as a frame to wet mould some leather to mould the inner protection. I like how it came out, I saw this reverse clasp on other examples I had seen and liked the look of it.

I recently posted a tooled belt that I made it is English bridle leather. Well my client gave me his pants size instead of his belt size. I didn't question this because I had made him a belt for his son recently and thought he had given me his belt measurement. Y'all know what they say about assuming. Another lesson learned, question everything. He told me 30" which I thought was a little short but he does have a smaller frame. I verified twice before I cut the blank to length and went to work. When I delivered it to him, it was way short. About 4" too short and this belt was 100% personalized, difficult to tool and a lot of work went into it. If the personalization…
