This is a great place to post pics your latest work. Please understand that as the threads get older, we're going to move the topics to the area they "fit", for example, bikes or holsters, just to keep this section manageable, and help the newer folks find lots of pics of the subjects they are interested in. If I have moved your post to the wrong area, please TELL me so I can fix it. Please don't be upset when I move an older post- it actually helps more people to find it. It also helps when we use descriptive titles. "Recent Projects" isn't as likely to get clicks as "Harley Saddlebags and Seat" or "Civil War Holster and Belt". To post your pics, use the "browse" …

hey there, my wife is asking for a center console cover for her pickup for Christmas. Any suggestions so that it stays in place? I don’t necessarily want to glue it in place. Should I just mold it or are there other suggestions? thank you!

A celebrity designer reached out to us with a special request: create a full set of custom leather patches to cover an entire duffle bag. This piece is one of the 130+ embossed-and-embroidered leather patches we produced for the project. Each patch is made on genuine textured leather with precision embroidery to give it a raised, sculpted look. The details stay sharp, the edges stay clean, and the finish gives the bag a premium, handcrafted feel. It was a challenging build, but seeing all the patches come together across every side of the duffle bag made the effort worth it.

I made this wallet for my son. Not the cleanest tooling I've done but he was happy. Made the interior from black mission grain pig. And the back is finished with resolene.

Wanted to try a building, The Alamo seemed like a good project. It was more difficult than anticipated, larger size would make it easier. The size was 7.5 x 10, seemed big enough when printing the piece, plus it is hard to find a lot bigger piece on a belly. With the price of bellies it gives me more freedom to try and not be afraid of the cost of failure, just have to read the leather for proper moisture content.

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on improving my leather braiding techniques, especially with kangaroo hide, and recently completed a brown–red 16-plait snake whip. I’m trying to refine tapering, plait symmetry, and handle reinforcement, and thought this community might have some experienced eyes for feedback. I’ve been studying different braiding methods, core building techniques, and how to get the cleanest transitions. If anyone here specializes in whip-making or braiding, I’d really appreciate advice or critique. I’ve shared more of my work and built on my profile as well. Thanks in advance — always learning!

The sheaths are not my work but I showed them all how to do it. This is my second class teaching sheath making. we spent a little time making a simple keychain that was featured in a "Skiver" newsletter many years ago . This served as a lesson in cutting stitching and dying before moving on to designing a sheath and working with larger pieces of leather. Most of the students had taken a knife making course at the school and now wanted a sheath for their creation.

Got a 'money clipper' template from Tandy, and tried a few versions of it. The hardware is a bit boring, but I haven't seen much different. Please feel free to share any criticisms, or especially suggestions for improving. Coarse language and abusive adverbs welcome, but please stick to gentle adjectives.

This is my first tooled bag and one of the first tooling designs that I have made by myself. The wheat and wild roses were included to reflect the Albertan prairies where the client lives. Solid brass hardware; the bag is finished with mink oil; and the tooled piece also finished with resolene to try to preserve the painted parts. The leather is bought from an old style Mennonite community in Belize, where I suspect is was made. The pattern was modified from Retro Leather Goods' leather saddle bag pattern. This project has taught me to use antiquing gel! Tooling takes too long to not use the proper product. Any thoughts, recommendations, or critiques? I wo…
