Once again I took the original drawings posted on this forum and created a pattern. You can download the pattern here: http://www.ktgunsmith.com/other/mag_pouch.pdf Here are photos of how they came out. For shooting Wild Bunch matches I made 3 of the double mag pouches. Instead of a one-piece belt loop and cover I made them separate so I could detach the cover for competition. The cover attaches to the top of the belt loop with snaps. The actual pouch completely covers the magazine; not great if you are trying to change magazines under the clock. SASS rules state that at least 2-inches of the magazine needs to be covered so I place a block of wood in the pouch to …

Guys & gals this is a couple pictures of a tandy wallet. Dont yell to bad at me for that. Is there any reasons why the top corners could not have been radiused? I think this tri-fold would look a lot professional if it was. Also do you see any reasons why they could not of sewn across the top of the wallet to have a complete perimeter of stitching. Yes the top outer stitch line would need to be stitched 1st before assembling the wallet. What's your guys & gals thoughts on this. Thanks. Any & all help will be appreciated.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what kind of material to use for making reusable templates. Cardboard, matboard, etc. are just too flimsy and when I'm trying to cut my leather/fabric with a rotary cutter they are too easy to cut. I've tried 1/4" masonite which I cut using a scroll saw and that's much better than cardboard, but it's harder to cut and fairly expensive. The plastic place mats from the dollar store do seem to work better than cardboard but they're not large enough for some of my patterns and I also wish the place mats would be a bit thicker. Ideally it would be some kind of clear plastic, at least 1/8" thick that would let me see the fabric …

Made these 2 flat caps for hubby. He has a woolen cap with a snap on the brim - this one: Please pardon the dog hair. (Our dog sheds enough to knit a cap from her fur, yearly.) I want to try my hand at making a similar one in leather. Does anyone know where I can get a pattern for this? I got the pattern for the ones I made from Dieselpunk.ro. He does not have the pattern that I now need and I could not find anything similar on Etsy.
