Leon Powers rebuild Updated
My girlfriend's grandfather was one of the best cowboys in this or any other part of the country. Her uncle found this old saddle of his and gave it to her brother. I was honored when he asked me to rebuild it for him. I think it is an old association tree and I stripped it down leaving only the gullet. I have the front jockey, back jockey, seat and fenders that came off the saddle that will be reused when it's ready. Ant tips on matching the color of the old leather with the new would be greatly appreciated.

Lone Star Bracelets Updated
These are some samples of our "Home on the Range Collection." They are all western inspired pieces as a tribute to Texas, where we live and operate our business. We make a lot of other beautiful pieces too.

Would love some feedback from fellow leatherworkers!

Lucky Work Boots Updated
A surprise Welcome Home gift for a buddy returning from his fourth tour in Afghanistan -- two with the Marines and last two as a Security Contractor. He says the pay is better but the duty is a lot more dangerous nowadays. So these are his good luck boots -- he returns for a fifth tour in eight weeks.
The boots were made using the "Stichdown" method and are modified from my regular Chukka Boot pattern (last pic -- also a recent pair) with a higher top, exterior toe cap, and some tooling. The treaded rubber soles are also handmade from conveyor belt rubber. I didn't to take a pic but I carved the tread with lightening bolts on the front half of the soles and the Marine's "RECON Seal" in the heels.

mah jongg case Updated
This was my first attempt at attache/brief case. Made it to fit a good friend and mentor's mahjongg tile set. The symbol on outside is "East" for the most dominant tile in the game. There are 5 inner boxes: 4 to hold each player's tiles and 1 to hold gambling chips & dice.

Mares Leg Updated
My attempt at making a holster for a .45 Colt lever action rifle. Still perfecting and learning as I go. Quite like working leather.
