There is a Facebook group called "Leather Tools For Sale" and a man named Wade Saddlemaker just listed a 3 piece set of stamps he called Hamley Desert Rose. Not sure if that's what you are looking for or not. The one is a 5 petal flower. Way out of my price range lol.

The markings look like they were done by a swivel knife to me. If you are looking for a nice natural wood grain pattern on your leather I'd use real wood. I have a few nice pieces of cedar wood that have amazing markings on it. I just case my leather and clamp it down on the cedar wood for a while to get a nice natural wood grain pattern.

I am pretty sure you can get the pattern in Tandy's Leather Library if you aren't having luck with the above listed ways. I know it was there a couple years ago.

I just use a chunk of beeswax and rub it straight on the edges. I then use a piece of canvas to slick it a bit better. Finally I use my edge slicker for the final touch up. Paraffin wax is a little harder than beeswax and is a bit cheaper. I have used that blend as well. I don't know the real reason people blend it, but as an ex candle maker I would assume the beeswax/paraffin mixture seeps in nicely and then hardens as well because paraffin is solid when set.

Yes, beeswax will certainly leave a nice edge. Just remember you can not dye OVER the wax so make sure the wax is your final step.
