  1. I dig the angry golf ball. And the pouch should protect the IPod when he hits a double bogey on a Par 3!
  2. X2 I am very curious on the money storage as well. And by the way it is a very beautiful wallet.
  3. Pretty cool. What kind of felt did you use, If you don't mind me asking?
  4. Welcome to the site. Lots of great leather workers on here to learn from. Scruffy
  5. Holster for a 6" S&W 687, couldn't afford the holster after I bought the gun so I made one.
  6. Amazing. I really dig the Japanese tattoo/art styling
  7. Thank you Monica. I ordered some straping, I've had a couple request to make a few and they asked about using poly or nylon straps instead of leather for the connecting straps but recycling your old ones is a great idea
  8. This is my first attempt at a camera strap. 7-8oz veg tanned for the main strap and 2-3oz for the connecting straps. Thinking about using nylon for the connecting straps on the next one.
  9. I believe NRK's post was about my wallet not Studio-N's fantastic buckle. I was not aiming to take over someones post as you can see in my post I asked if he wanted me to remove it. I now know not to attach pictures in some elses thread I just thought it was a coincidence that we did "similar" projects thats all I was stating. Again Studio-N I apologize for what has happened. Your buckle was great, now lets keep this thread to that, no negativity.
  10. The wallet in the movie is embroidered, but his text is darn near dead on to that.
  11. LMAO. I just finished a wallet for a client with the same thing. I just realized I jacked your thread I am so sorry, if you want I can delete my post. Again I apologize! By the way your belt buckle is BAD!!!! I really dig it.
  12. I made a few of these several years ago but they did not come out as nice as yours, very cool.
  13. Thanks I bought some the other day, but just for dyeing! I am first going to try and avoid contact with leather just to see. Then I will experiment with some of the other advice y'all have given me. Thanks a million
  14. Thanks Reaper, I have some latex free gloves I can try. Yeah that is my last purchase from tandy, where do you get your leather?
  15. Leather came from Tandy. This current batch of leather I got early last month and two weeks later it appeared. It started on my wrist then to my forearms, stomach, thighs and sometimes knuckles. They look like welts as in they are raised and slighty red, they don't itch to bad and benadryl makes it subside. Thanks everyone sorry to bring up such a personal issue.
  16. Thanks Matt, I can't afford to buy all new leather at this time so I will just lay off the stuff I have for a week or two. Thanks, Scruffy
  17. Has anyone ever heard of someone developing an allergy to leather more specificly veg tanned? I have been working with leather for around 4 years but only here and there, but as of recently almost daily. Well I started breaking out in hives three weeks ago whenever I handle the leather i'm have, I thought at first a latex allergy as I just started wearing gloves while dyeing but I have cut those out and it still happends even if I am not dyeing. Dr. has no idea without doing a bunch of expensive allergy test. I am going to stop for a couple weeks and see what happens, but I am thinking I may have to stop and sell everything!!! Which I do not want. I know this is a very personal question but I would appriciate any help. Thanks
