  2. I like it! The colors really make it stand out.
  3. I saw the Spock stamp and my nerd meter went to def con 3! How much and where do I get one?? Seriously, I would love to know more about your prices and stamps, especially a maker's mark. And to put my 2 cents in on advertising, the place I look for leatherworking goodies besides Tandy is EBAY. I would definitely check out your website if I saw it at Leatherworker.net too.
  4. I have an update on the dye. I believe it was made by a company in St. Louis, Midco EZ stains. Evidently they make dyes and the customer who ordered these dyes went out of business so the fellow who has them now is trying to sell them. A friend is picking some up for me tonight over in the STL area. I will let you know how they look when I try them.

    Ez Dye

Hi all, A friend showed me this on Craig's list. This guy is selling leather/fabric dye at $1 per 16 oz bottle or $6 per case of 12. Has anyone ever heard of this brand? It's a killer deal if it's any good. http://stlouis.craigslist.org/for/1956757493.html Thanks, Ellen
  6. Thanks for the reply With the economy being what it is and the magical properties of a credit card (ie Poof! I just spent money I don't have!), I cut up all my cards several months ago. So essentially I pay cash for everything using paypal. I have found that even when I have money on my paypal debit card not many online businesses treat it like a regular debit or credit card and I can't use it. Strictly speaking I pay with "echecks" through paypal but I dont know if that costs the businesses extra money or not. It's no biggie if no one knows. I just thought if anyone else was in the same boat they might have the inside scoop on a good leather site. Take care, Ellen
  7. Hi All, Does anyone else use paypal to pay for their leather? I am looking for a supplier. I've been buying on ebay but it's kindve a crap shoot there. Thanks for your help Ellen
  8. Thanks Cheryl. I really like that website. They have a lot of neat gadgets I haven't seen before!
  9. wow what an awesome website. thanks very much.
  10. webs.com is a free and really easy to set up.
  11. I just wanted to point out that this is the second post I have seen from "Al" that is rude and obnoxious. I also wanted to point out that in the 6 months I have been creeping on this site, it is the first time I have seen a response like that. I also noticed that you are new here Al and FYI the people here are nice and helpful and they don't make others feel bad about asking questions. So please don't feel the need to respond to questions, because there are plenty of masters here who are true teachers. Ellen
  12. wow...it that an anime character or one from a game?
  13. I understand where u are coming from Leatheroo. It has crossed my mind how ironic it is to see such beautiful craftsmanship associated with violence. I am sure that some people who create dark or negative images are expressing their inner pain. I believe guns for protection are a result of fearfulness that is created or encouraged by our media.
  14. I looked at your gallery and your cases are absolutely beautiful! I dont know what to tell u about pricing. I am new to the leatherwork biz and am doing my first art festival next month. Upon seeing the quality of your work my first reaction is...don't sell yourself short. Anyone with half a brain can see the amazing craftsmanship in those cases.
  15. Wow it really is beautiful. It would make a lovely clock face.

  17. I really like the color and design of this belt.
  18. Wow! Those are amazing. I would love to have a size 8 women's pattern. I tried to make some moccasin's from scratch and they look really bad. Actually, "it" looks really bad. I stopped with one. On the bright side my Sheltie loves to play with it. He slaps himself in the head as he shakes it back and forth. So when u post your pattern would u pls give pointers about how to size it to fit? Thanks so much for sharing :D Oh! and what kind of leathers did u use? pls include thickenesses too.
  19. Interesting film. Thx
  20. Hi, I work in healthcare and they have stopped using latex gloves because of all the people who have become allergic to it. I noticed that the Tandy glue is made from latex. Could that be it? Ellen
