  1. Fingers on my Right hand are Numb... How do you folks hand sew for hours?

      Numbness is NOT good. I took lots of breaks. I would stretch your hands first, work until the cramping started then stop, shake my hands out, stretch and work my fingers until it subsided. Then continue until I felt it coming on again... and take a break. Get some ice on those wrists to reduce any swelling and take an anti-inflammatory over the counter med. If it doesn't get better.... see a doc.

      Thanks Sylvia. Well my fingers didn't stay numb and there was no swelling. They were just numb when stitching. This is the first time this has happened... Usually I am using both hands & 2 needles to stitch, using the Pony to hold the item. This time I was holding the item in my left hand and an awl and a needle in my right hand. Gues maybe I need to make the holes a bit bigger so I don't need to use the awl. And take a break!
