  1. Argh! My wife drives for FedEx ground, and used to drive to Atlanta every week. She could have picked it up and brought it back with her for free! If she could fit it in the sleeper, that is. Their trailers are sealed. Now she drives to Gallup NM and back every day. I'll have to check and see who is doing the Atlanta run now and see if they owe her any favors!
  2. What is the price of the Lubertos Classic? can you post pics of all the machines, please?
  3. Kate, What bench machinery are you interested in? I have quite a bit of it with a few repeats that I am certainly willing to let go, including an American crank skiver. Let me know what you want and I will see what I have. What is the maximum thickness this machine can sew? Regards, Logan
  4. I hate to tell you, but three machine like this one just sold on eBay. I bought one of them. all three were slightly different from each other.
  5. Ruffler attachment is no longer available from Adler. I am searching for a used one. I need to Call Steve at Cobra. He may have found one for it already.
  6. The glue containers are also available from Campbell-Randall here: http://www.campbell-randall.com/shop/index.php?route=product/search&filter_name=glue%20container 4 sizes available from 13oz up to 100 oz at prices from 14.50-30.50
  7. Congrats! Gloves see to be quite a challenge. I have modified several pairs, but never made any. I hope to try them soon.
  8. Very nice work. You capture the feel of the old style holsters better than most.
  9. Adler just sent the parts list with diagrams, which will be included with the machine. I have checked the part numbers for the shirring/ruffler attachment, and I have inquired about their availability and pricing. Should have an answer for you soon.
  10. While I have made mochas sins using this machine, I have never made pucker toe mochas sins. I am selling this machine because I have no use for the shirring function. I am still waiting to hear back from Adler regarding the shirring attachments.
  11. I'll have to check with Steve @ Cobra to see if he got those for it. The machine is still at his warehouse, waiting to ship out if you want to go for it. I will contact Adler to see if they are still available. They should be, Adler is pretty good about keeping parts available for their machines.
  12. Interesting. Thanks Bruce I will look into that.I don't think they are creaser wheels Mike. O.D. is too large, and the edge surfaces are smooth.
  13. Greetings folks, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what these steel wheels are, what they are used for and what type of machine they go on. They have a 4" outside diameter and 1" inside diameter. There are 3 pairs and each pair has a different thickness. Measured them last night, but forgot the numbers after a busy day. I believe the thicknesses are 5/8", 3/8" and 1/4"
  14. Ack! I just called up the pics of the spec sheet I sent you and saw how blurry they were. sending the full PDF file now.
  15. reverse yes, but cannot be triple feed for the shirring action , so it is top and bottom feed, and the rate of the topfeed can be varied from the bottom feed which causes the shirring action. Triple feed would prevent the shirring. Yes, it has reverse
  16. Not certain of age. Would have to contact Adler with the serial number to confirm. I will give it a try.
  17. Everything works properly on it, as I said Steve at Cobra machines has fixed it up and taken care of getting what it needs. Shirring action works. Spec sheet is in one of the above attachments. I a not certain if Adler still makes this machine, but they do still offer parts for it. Most of the parts are interchangeable with similar 205 models. I will contact Adler to see if they still make this machine, and you are welcome to do the same.
  18. One source for a fairy good pattern actually is the Jack Sparrow costume kit for kids. The straps are plastic of course, as are the buckles, but they are the proper width, so all you need to do is modify the length. I would assemble it by sewing/stitching, rather than rivets though. That one is a fixed frog design though. Only built for one size of sword scabbard. I will post pics of adjustable ones soon. Sooo many projects going at the moment.
  19. yes, I thought of cutting my first one down into just a polisher at one point. glad I didn't now. I will post pics of it as soon as I can. Pretty busy with projects right now
