    I think the people who make Joanne's snaps need a new ruler. 5/16 and 1/4" are NOT the same thing, so don't put 5/16" on the package and fill it with1/4" inch posts!

      Hey, we all make mistakes..... At least I nkow I do... heheh. Just let them know - wont they make it right? I bet they will send replacements and let you keep the ones you have.

      They might, but technically the top of the post is 5/16 from the bottom of the base. BUT, they have a stupid little flare on them making up the rest of the length, so the post is only 1/4". My wife will use the rest I think. I was just in a bind and wanted to finish my piece before my new ones get here next week.
