  1. So, who's ever "tooled" on 2/3 oz soft tooling leather? Any samples of the results?

      5 to 6 oz soft veg would be easier to tool, I would think. And if it got stiff on you just treat it with some oil and some hand flexing before you dye it. It took me a while but I got 9oz to drape

      I've been using 3-4 ounce milled veg carving leather for several years now. When mounted on illustration board, one can tool it like it's 7-8 oz. Called and talk with Glen at Wickett and Criag
