Great information here. I am going to purchase a few in very near future but nothing unusual. where might I find a supplier with the Saiwa chisels? Are they available in the U.S. ? Had hoped to find something of stainless as humidity around here brings on the rust if not given some type of application. Any advice and assistance would be appreciated. God Bless. I have a number of gouges for carving and some are small enough for leather work as well. Have decided to lump everything together as single lot and make thing easier to find. There are some FLEX CUT KNIVES, CHIPPING AWAY KNIVES, FLEX CUT GOUGE HANDLE, HIGHLAND 6 PIECE CARVING SET, AND 12 PIECE AND 6 PIECE BEGINNERS GOUGE SETS. Thought I would make something out of this one day but that day never came. Good skin but does have 2 small issues which I will attempt to describe. 1 small hole @ 12" from narrow end and @ 1 1/4 to 1 7/8" from side/edge. Another extremely small, and not visible in Pic, is @ 6 1/4" above first hole and 2 1/8 from same side/edge. The last hole is in the black coloring and very hard to find. about the with and size of a very small knife point. Overall, I would say that it is a nice skin. @ 40" long, @6" +/- at large end and narrowing to @ 5" and then back to 6" plus at very end. First $30.00 plus 5.95 flat rate shipping. God Bless. Ray

ROUND KNIFE I OBTAINED SOME TIME AGO, JUST TO HANG IN SHOP. On blade it has etched: PAUL PU (?) ZEL LTD. NUREMBERG, GERMANY No idea what the third letter is in name or if there even is one. My eyesight not good enough to make anything out. Slightly tarnished but solid. Could use a bit of honing. $40.00 plus 5.95 shipping.
