Hello Zayne, and others----- Have any of you had the opportunity to try the new Pro Series edgers offered by Tandy? Took a chance and now must say that they are a vast improvement over others I have in the shop. Extremely sharp, stainless blade, comfortable handles and different sizes are available from extra fine, 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Pleased that I gave them a shot as always seeking something new to try. Just thought I would pass this on as price was also very reasonable. Also purchased a 10-12 oz side of veg-tan that is very nice and at $119.00 I feel it was worth the expense, whether imported or not. Now to get myself in the shop, when weather returns to normal, and think of something to do. lol. Never enough time to do all the ideas but great fun attempting. God Bless you all. Ray

Hello CG, All of the above suggestions have merit. The only thing I will add is, you should have something around the edges of the flooring material you decide to use, that will absorb any dye that gets away. A splash will go everywhere but where it should go, as certain you know. You would want some type of material that would not bleed through and perhaps a heavy cardboard under some more solid floor covering would be good. In my shop, it is not an important issue but in house and on carpet, it would be a real issue. Hope you find something of use and get it down and working for you. Don't want any of those "faceplants" either. I don't think I would be able to get up again. lol. God Bless. Ray

Ditto, on the DAP Weldwood Green Label adhesive. No odor, easy to clean up and great holding power. Been using for some time now and never had a problem. I have the regular contact cement but will not use again due to fumes affecting me. Also find the Green can is much easier to apply. God Bless. Ray

Hello Francesco, I have recently purchased the burnisher from Cobra Steve's place and it does everything I had hoped it would do. Had 200 plus smalls to burnish and by hand would have taken me forever. This machine solved the problem for me. The reversible, variable speed features are a definite plus, in my opinion. One of the best purchases I have made. Hope you enjoy as much as I do, if you decide to purchase. You may even be close enough to pick up and save freight. God Bless. Ray

Well, the old year is gone and hope everyone rang in the new with a smile and hopes for a better and more exciting 2015. Hello Pawpaw, Thank you for the kind words. It is, for me, a thrill to be able to share what I have found over the years. All to soon it will be gone. All the good times and fond memories will be as exciting as the hunt was in the past. In addition, I don't want to leave a burden on the shoulders of my beloved so this is a good time to be parting with some of my "goodies". Nothing earth shaking but things I found of interest to me at the time I located/found them. So many interesting things in the world and we pass through life not even aware of many of the items that exist. I love the thrill of discovery and would enjoy doing it all over again. Boring, my life was not. Always filled with some type of activity, no matter what part of the world I was in at the time. I believe I would need several more centuries of life to try everything I can seem to come up with. lol.
