Here is a before and after pic of my Singer 31-15 that I recently restored, must worn you it is not a original restore. I have seen the original Singers, don't get me wrong they are beautiful machines in all black and gold accents so I stayed with that concept but went way out there to reflect my style more. I know this may be sacrilege to some of the Singer fanatics but hope you like. Now time to learn how to sew, does anyone have any info on how to use one of these bad boys?....lol...JK

Hello, I have to ask this cause it seems to come up on other forums I am on (watch forums). Is there documentation I should have when dealing with exotic hides, such as elephant, hippo, etc...? I get asked if I have proper documentation for the hides or items being sold, am I missing something? I buy from a US based tannery I asumed that they were responsible for haveing the proper documentation.

Thanks, everyone I have seen has a set screw so think I am going crazy and triple check and nope, no set screw so it's got me head scratching...lol

Anyone know how to remove the spring for this setup? Planning on cleaning and restoring (rock star version) and unable to remove spring, There is no set screw in the casing that holds the spring in just this pin.

Looking at pics it looks like I have the 31. I contacted singer and they said it was a 44 according to the serial number but looking at the 44 it is shorter than what i have.

Recently was able to score an insane deal. Picked up a Consew 199R and a working 1899 Singer 44 for what I think is an insane price of $450 for the set! Back to my question, anyone happen to know how to source a service manual for the Singer 44? Looked on line and only found the instructions. Thank you

buy panels of croc skin panels like these. These were posted on a forum that I frequent and wanted to know if anyone knows where to pick some up, I was thinking printed leather but states that they are real. I would ask the guy but does the same work I do...whole competition thing...lol
