Are you letting the 2 pieces dry before contacting, I noticed the same issue when I would contact the pieces before dry to touch and also was thick and stringy. you can try to use the barge thinner to thin the cement you currently have. That is good to know about the DAP, I was actually considering trying that brand.

  9. I would say by looking at it use a large box and use a gift wrap method to achieve the look of the first picture, just my 2 sense
  10. So wifey has been getting a lot of compliments on the clutch I made her and people are liking the design so made a second one to give to my mother to build up business lol. It is Brown Portuguese cork, lined and trimmed in orange leather.

  16. Hello all, just wanted to share my latest completed women's clutch made of Portuguese cork and eggplant purple leather. This was my first time making and using a pattern to complete this clutch and since it was not a customer order wife jumped all over it! Hope you like

  19. Was checking out the John Fong web site after reading another post and ran into an image of turkey leather that look pretty nice in texture. Wondering if anyone knew where to get such a thing? I did a quick search and nothing came up, thanks for the help!
