  6. Thanks for the comments! Yes I need a lot of practice with walking the tool, I think my beveling was both a combo of to wet and walking skills. Thanks for the clarification on styles also, I am fairly new too leather tool working so any help is much appreciated.
  7. So this is my first attempt at tooling leather and have to say this is going to be fun getting into. Looks a little rough but still figuring it out. Open to critique on this one! Also I always see leather workers using about 5 or 6 common tools for stamping that are the go to, does anyone happen to know what are the top 5-6 tools that are needed to just achieve the basic stamping looks?

Here is my first shot at a holster I made from cork and backed with black leather, it was also my first time doing a braided stitch...I forget the exact name...love the look but dam there has to be an easier way! lol. Made this for my brother so I will post pics of the gun holstered when he gets it and he will have to do the durability test for me, what are brothers for lol

  16. Shout out to dhaverstick for his help with my questions on this project. So my brother said he wanted a arm gaurd and this what I came up with, made the pattern and took inspiration from dhaverstick.

  18. What is the proper knotting technique for sinew? Tied it in a knot and as soon as it got touched it started unraveling.
