  1. wow, im apreciating the tooling details and the colorings. there is alot going on, i like the creative way you used punched holes to decorate
  2. Has any one used the Dremel work station turns rotary tool into a mini drill press? Seems like it would speed things up by drilling the 200+ holes instead of punching?
  3. the tool to ream out the holes,ice pick, ground down phillips, my stylus came with my Tandy tool kit worked good

  5. Thanks. I really enjoyed making The seat.The tricky part was getting the top and bottom pattern/ holes made. Had to make a second go at the bottom piece. The work is in the braiding, when going in the 1/8" hole with 1/4" lace the second time, Had to use the pliers and a fid took awhile, and wiped neets foot oil on each strand of roo. The air brush made the dye fading easy and resolean finish. I'm already thinking about making another but I only have one motorcycle.

  11. Thanks agian Billy, I'll give the screws a try, I have had some of the segma snaps coming unsnapped, the line 20 are bulky for the fold on buckle end I don,t want to use rivets,Seems like most would prefer the option of changing out buckles
  12. Would Chicago screws work better than segma snaps on the buckle ends?

  14. Glad to hear your leather work is supporting you. Are still making those beautiful bike seats? Do you still have your bobber? I stained the back of my belts with Eco flow water stain let dry and buffed with no rub off. Guss they are ok,Thanks for the info Merry Christmas

  18. Thanks, I got the stohlman 1lb poly maul. Improved stamping over the kit malletI can see the need to have a variety of weights, I bet that 8 pounder makes strap endHole punch easy
  19. Just done enough tooling to realize that light weight poly mallet came with the TandyBeginners kit, may not be the best. What tool do experienced recommend
