Several have said cut resolene with water which I have done but it still is shiny and stiff which is not what I prefer but water rolls right off it

Thanks Jmann, I'm a beginner but enjoy. Give it a go I get my pans from Accufast2d.net. Todd has many styles with plenty of flip up keep you in the seat. I use neoprene closed cell foam I get from http://www.foamforyou.com/Closed_Cell_Foam.htm

Seat #4, first seat I wet moulded over the pad/pan and made a stitch ledge then machine sewed the pieces together, the round braid is very nice but takes a lot of time.

Thanks for all comments, keep n comin, good for learn n I used a Groover then when I got a little off the gap showed,wouldn't have showed soo bad if I had grooved before dye. I like the advise using the creaser to help depress the thread and have guide line And just stitch without. I am a new sew machine user and going to give the edge guide foot to keep me sewing straight

thanks for the help. i di hem 3 pairs of jeans and turned out good. this trick i found on you tube about cutting out a little bit of that heavy hump made it easy going over.
