  1. One of a few harmonica cases I've done. They are really fun and functional, we hope you like them.
  2. What a great idea! Thank you for sharing.
  3. As Tom said, welcome from another Calgarian.
  4. Very nice work. I like how you put the snap on as well. I wish I had seen this earlier when I was making an IPad cover. I will definitely try it on my next project. Thank you for the idea.
  5. Thank you for the kind words. Monica: I'm getting better with the bevelers (?) and finding that by using different angles I can do much finer details.
  6. Here are a couple of pictures to show my tooling progress. This is going to go onto a notebook cover which will be black in colour. Thanks for looking ....and the final picture
  7. Beautiful work.
  8. Very nice work. I like how you've used rivets as well as stitching for the D ring attachment. I am going to try that myself, thanks for the idea.
  9. Thank you so much for the kind words. Compliments certainly boost ones confidence.
  10. Oooohh, this is beautiful. I agree, using the pen as the clasp is a great idea. I am definitely going to try this. I also like the curve you have in the top flap, your design flows so nicely around the whole journal. Your Mom must be so pleased.
  11. My attempt at a rifle scabbard for a friend to surprise her husband. She needed a custom case as the rifle didn't fit properly into any store bought scabbards. It has a bi-pod thingy on it so that takes up extra room. I had fun doing the basket weave and the copper rivets were a learning experience. I had fun creating this, I didn't have a pattern to work with and she is very happy with how it turned out. I want to work on my burnishing some more so it really shines next time. Thanks for looking.
  12. Thank you Von Tannin, your idea sounds like something I may be able to set up. Along with all of the other ideas in the "how do I do that forum" I should be able to get my lettering much neater.
  13. I forgot to mention that I would appreciate any tips for ways to keep my letters and numbers straighter. I always have issues with that. Thanks in advance!
  14. This is a scissor case that fits on a duty belt for a paramedic. It was fun to make, hope the skulls don't scare the patients.......
  15. Very nice, I like the musical notes.
  16. Here are some pictures of a harmonica case I made with leftover pieces of leather. I am excited to make another using full pieces and less rivets now that I have learned a few things. I would appreciate any critiques as I love to try new techniques and ideas.
  17. Well, I have put all of my rivets, eyelets, snaps and a few other items into the toolkit. Here are a few pictures to show how much room there is. The bins are all removable so you can re-arrange them if need be..
  18. Here's the picture for you. I found it at Home Depot, it's made by Husky. The Store model number is 17185073 and the Internet number is 202021301 FYI, there are 2 types of these. One doesn't have the bins in the bottom, that's why I've included the model number. Any other questions just let me know Audrey
  19. Just thought I would share a few pictures of an organizer / toolbox that I just picked up. I'm still trying to organize my work area and I think this will hold all my rivets, snaps, eyelets and anything else that doesn't have a spot yet. My local Tandy store has a fishing tackle box that they have to support with a block of wood when they open it or it tips over and spills the contents I like that I can remove the separate bins as I need them and the best feature is the "built in support" for the top shelf when you open it (2nd picture). I think it is a reasonable price at $29.99 ( in Canada) I'll post some pictures once I get some stuff in it. Have a great day.
  20. Thank you! This is exactly the one I was looking for.
