That seat is very impressive. I haven't developed that kind of patience yet .

hey there papaleather - I am in the Atlanta area, too, and have been looking for some fellow leatherworkers to learn some new tricks. I'm fairly new myself and am learning as much as I can from the internet, but as you know sometimes it helps to sit with someone else and and do it with them.

I like that idea and am impressed. Is the rocker/handle on the bottom wet formed or have some sort of support built into the handle? My wine bottles don't stay full that long.

Trifold Style Biker Wallet

That is a nice wallet. Is that a piece of clear plastic on the left side? May I ask how it is attached - sewn to the top piece only? -

I think it is a great case. -
That bag is very nice. My wife said she would be afraid to fly with it as everyone at the airport would be envious of that suitcase.

I think it is a wonderful case. I hope it works well for you. -
Hello - I have followed this board for a while and have been working with the kits and packaged items. This is my first attempt at making a pattern and creating something, learning a lot more about leatherworking along the way. After reading "How to Make Leather Cases" by Al Stohlman, I thought "what can be so hard about that?" I can see several areas for improvement, but I am interested in feedback from others to see what I missed in my self-assessment. This was a gift for my wife, along with a few fountain pens. She loves it (which is all that matters to me)
