Hi, If any one is going to be a vendor at the Ohio Renaissance Festival, and is currently looking for help, I would love to talk with you. I have been attending faires for years, but sadly have never had the chance to work them, till now. I have a background in theater production and costuming.Previous employment includes customer service and sales.And I currently work the front desk for the YMCA, so greeting and dealing with cutomers is no problem. Thanks for the reply Gregg. From the pics, it looks in pretty good condition.The guy's askin $950. Still have to go see it in person, and see it run. And then weigh the decision between buying something local and used,or for a bit more money, drive and buy something new.Those pesky choices... -

My Grandmother Rose Ellen Caudill went home to the Lord this afternoon.There truly is too much to be said about this past week.I am grateful I could be there to witness her time of victory in Jesus! been at nursing home with grandma past two days.I wish the nurses and doctor there could do their jobs woth some basic level of respect.Having worked in assisted living,its hard to be patient with apathy and incompetence.

The doc here is getting ridiculous.Can't tell if he's trying to keep her off her death bed, or speed up the process.And I wish I was joking.

You don't have to be in a nursing home to get bad care... 10 years ago after surgery I was in recovery for 3 days and the service was deplorable...
When I spoke up it got worse and they ignored me....
literally didn't answer the call button for hours at a time. It is probably a combination of training, salary and politics and the fact that some people just should Not be in the medical profession... I noticed that the best nurses were on the night shift.

Thats horrible LN. Sounds like one of the first hospitals she went to.It is very sad that the good ones burn out faster.and the bad ones stick around for the pay check.But such is the sad reality of life

Been a day of furniture moving,taking things to storage,spackling the swiss cheese that is the walls of my room,and rehanging pictures.I need to find the energy to keep going for 2 more hours, and then it's Downton Abbey time!

I am a "salesman" but I never try to sell anything. All I ever do is show people my product and if they aren't interested I give them a flyer. I've had calls 18 months after I met someone and they order a machine because they didn't want, need or couldn't afford at the time but appreciated that I respected their situation. I have always thought that a good salesman looks at business that happens today and in 5 years time. It is all about building relationships.

Maybe the Pods would work for you? I have never used them, and certainly never moved machinery.But it would be ground level to start with.Also not sure exactly how large of a container you would need, but theirs go up to 16'. http://www.pods.com/default.aspx Whatever route you choose, best of luck! -
