  2. Shark skin cue case with a few more dead animals thrown in.
  3. Spartan helmet zipper-pull/pendant. Hand-carved by me, and cast in bronze. Silver ones to come.
  4. Promotional video for my KKL T-shirts.
  5. This is a little cosmetics bag mad from lambskin with black cowhide overlay and lined in black cow. This is also the first piece to have one of my hand-carved (by me) silver pieces. I've got a lot more cool hand-carved silver in the works, so stay tuned!
  6. Had to take some time away from the perpetually full job-list to make this. Several local bands are performing Saturday to raise money for a fellow musician, dealing with costly medical issues due to a sudden battle with Cancer, who like many musicians does not have health insurance. This is my contribution to the auction.
  7. Body of wallet is a very realistic gator embossed cowhide; This stuff is impressive. Celtic racing stripe is dark green lizard skin inlayed in black pigskin. Interior of wallet features: ten card pockets three cash pockets one zipper pocket gold paisley asian brocade lining Keeping it all shut are two of my brand new hand carved silver smoothie KKL snaps. This one's got all the bells and whistles.
  8. I've been wanting/needing to do this for years. The time has finally arrived! This is my new hand carved snap for KKL! These pics are of the (unfinished) master. I wanted to come up with something simple, sexy, and effective. The result is the KKL "smoothie" snap. It is a little over 1 ounce of .925 sterling silver, and measures in at approx. 27mm across. The center is concave, and feels reeeeeaallll nice on your thumb.
  9. Thanks! No, it's not pigskin. It's cow. It actually started out as basketball leather; but with the help of some dark brown dye, sandpaper, and leather balm, it is now an old football. Hahaha! That may be true, my friend, but I don't think so. It's gonna be a close game regardless.
  10. My friend Carollea is an artist. This is my favorite piece of hers. This was my Christmas gift to her. 8X8 wall hanging.
  11. I am no expert on sheaths, so i'll leave that one alone. I agree with TinyL on his advice. Deeper cuts, proper angle, and smoothing out the bevel. If you can't get it smooth during the initial beveling, run your beveler over it again. Also, try using an iverted bevel on the text. I personally hate tooling letters, but I have found that inverting on text makes it much cleaner looking.
  12. Valet tray to put all your stuff. This one is a big one too; 14"x8", so you can put a lot of stuff in it.
  13. From the album: KKL

  14. That's quite the compliment on my work, thank you! I share your outlook. Thanks! It's my first attempt, there are a few "hiccups", but I loved making it. Will probably get into making more, it's so fun.
