  3. Thank you TwinOaks I'm building my tools but missed the V gouge tool of my order so it will have to wait for another time , i realised having watched somebody make a iPhone sleeve that i maybe should have bought one .
  4. Just wondered at a push could i use a Stitch Groover as a substitute for a V gouge when i need to make a sharp fold or will it spoil the look of the piece ?

  7. Hi El Zipster , i put an order in with LePrevo a lady called Jan dealt with my order and i managed to get everything i wanted in the tool line plus i ordered some Sam Brown's and Chicago sets . Shipping was £22.00 which sounds a lot but it was a saving from buying from the Tandy store . I found a company in northern Spain who stock Fiebings products and they charge €5.00 to ship to me in Malaga this the link to there site . http://www.joman.net/curtidos.htm I don't where you are in Spain but there is a company in Antequera which is about an hour from me and they stock leather i haven't bought from them yet but will be going in the next week or two so i'll keep you updated , google David Moran Antequera and you'll see it , hopefully we can swap info as i am new to this . Cheers Dave

  10. Hi i am just getting started into making some leather products just for family and friends gifts and such , i have just put an order in for most of the tools , dyes and finishes i think i will need to get started but i have a problem with what type of rivet and snap tools to buy , i only intend to make wallets , watch straps and maybe key fobs to start of with , so my question is , what size and what rivet and snap setting tool would you recommend i buy ? apologies if i haven't explained myself properly.
  11. Hello new member here , i have placed an order for some tools , dyes and finishers with a UK supplier to be shipped to Spain where i live , i had a email from the company saying they were unable to ship the dyes as the Professional Oil dye is flammable which i can understand. I have been on Tandy's web site in Spain and it says the Fiebings Professional Oil dye is unavailable in Spain. Can anybody recommend an alternative oil dye that is available in Spain or if there is a supplier in Spain that stocks Fiebing's products? Cheers
