Not sure where you live but if you have an Ikea they sell a plastic chopping board that is nearly the exact thickness of the Iphone 5 , i bought one and cut it to the size made a perfect dummy phone there was enough left for Iphone 4 just needed to add a bit of thickness to it . http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ikea-White-Chopping-Board-Packing/dp/B007YGSGY0/ref=sr_1_1?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1383858043&sr=1-1

I thought that might be the answer , next question would you recommend re-shaping a round handle to give a flattened side ? I appreciate the brass ferule makes it a bit less straight forward but you get my thinking .

A question to the members with different Head Knife handles , I've noticed that some Head knives come with a what seems to be flat sided wooden handles and some appear to be round just wondered which gives the more comfortable grip without compromising accuracy when cutting ? Some examples Flat sided http://www.outfitterssupply.com/Head-Knife/productinfo/WLF71/ Round http://www.josephdixon.co.uk/products/Saddlers_Tooling/Knives/Round_Knifes_Head_Knifes.html

Greetings Thornale from fellow member living in Spain ,do you have some nice French tools I'm thinking the Vergez Blanchard tools they look wonderful but expensive. PS your English is better than my Spanish .
-
Hi don't know if this will be of help but i contacted Dixon to order a Single Head knife, i asked the price of shipping to Spain , i received a email from Helen Mercer with a pro forma invoice and bank details to transfer the money ,i emailed Helen 2 days later to confirm they had received my money she told me my knife had been dispatched gave me a tracking number and i got my knife about 10 days later i cant' be accurate as my neighbour took delivery for me as we had taken a couple of days vacation, and the knife was on my couch when we got home . I couldn't be happier with the knife it's smaller than i expected which suited me as i only make small items. It did need sharpening and some polishing with some jewelers rouge.
