My biggest mistake was not waiting on you to offer a pattern for the sr40c!! LOL Design mistakes are: I think my overall design needs to be tweaked to say the least. To much material behind the back belt slot. The stiffener could have been designed with a better flowing line. Backside of the stiffener is over sized for the area. The trigger guard stitch line could have been tighter. Needs lines that flow. Belt slots need to be executed better. But, what I learned the most is that I need to make more corrections to my patterns before cutting the leather. I tried to do to much on the fly...

My first ever attempt at an avenger style holster. No where near perfect by a long shot, but I learned A LOT making it.

Anyone have any pictures of a double loop laced edge that also has a stamped border near the lacing? I'm working on a project and am afraid it's going to look to plain with just a laced edge... Any ideas of ways to dress a laced edge up?

How do you recommend someone care for leather that has been finished with acrylic resolene?

Second, when can I oil the leather with neadsfoot oil? Before dye? Between dye and finish? After finish? The finish I have chosen to use is Resolene. Any input will be greatly appreciated...
