  10. Hey Marty! Thanks so much for the post man I'm trying to learn about watchbands and cuffs as well, plus a few other things, these were very helpful!!! Eric
  11. it looks to be 2 inches wide, and the buckle is on a seperate piece of leather, so Im fairly sure its not folded so do you think they just use inferior "glue"???
  12. One of the main reasons I want to learn leatherworking is to make custom cuffs and watchbands, a friend had a store bought one and is made from two pieces of leather sandwiched together, it looks like one thick piece except where its started to seperate, my questions are why use two thin pieces instead of one thick one, and two if you do use two thinner pieces how would you avoid seperation issues if its not stitched? Thanks in advance Eric

The stamps I know about thanks to some online tutorials and swivel knife but alot of the others Im a bit clueless about

  21. Hey All I have a fine art background and am very excited about learning Leather working, my question is what do I need to begin, I would rather spend a bit more upfront to get quality tools etc than buying a "starter kit" I'm interested in motorcycle seats, boots, vests, and watchbands primarily. I know this may be an extensive list so I dont mind calling someone on my dime and writing it myself to save someone alot of typing. Glad to see the forum restored and thank you!!! Eric
  22. cool stuff man!! did you use acrylic paint for the white??????
