I like this it's a nice clean piece ... Your finishing is good nice and tidy ... Your like me I seem to be obsessed with lining everything at present !!! Trouble is I think it's how everything should be finished which is rubbishy really but I can't help it tends to make everything more complicated !!! And more expensive !!! .. Nice work .. Colin ...

I think the slot and chrome Anchor piece should have a leather strap attached with a stirrup attached on the other end ... You use it with either your leg over it and add tension with the stirrup or attach it to a table or log and do the same thing ... I have a clam made by FRED MOREAU he makes awasome custom clams ... Or did I think mine was one of his last ones. I'll stick a photo on my bits album .. Colin

I really like the look of this bag !!! Must have taken an age just to work out the panels let alone put it together !!! .. I haven't played for a while but I bet it gets a few admiring looks and comments. It has a classic look about it and I like the choice of leather and colour very cool project .. Colin ... -

I believe they are called ring post or "D" posts ... I bought a load of them a while ago again on Etsy from a Korean supplier ... Hope this helps ... I'm looking for some fancy designed ones at present, found a skull design one but want something different. If you find anything like that let me know ok !! ..

Thanks for your kind comments much appreciated ... I've been leather working about a year or so now so not that long but learning all the time ... You are right it is all hand sewn using saddle stitch and all I could advise Paul is find a technique that works for you and be consistent, repetition repetition repetition !!! ..... Colin ...
