  1. Thread is 0.45 mm poly thread from Wuta on aliexpress. The holes are made with Wuta 3mm spacing pricking iron
  2. Thanks! And thanks for the recomandations! I bought Fenice since then, used it on the other 2 wallets I posted here. Much better!
  3. He he . Expat, or you lived/visited Romania? I found that sticking the needle from the outside, to see where the hole is on the inside helped.
  4. I know, and the client is very happy with the bag, but there are some things I want to improve in all my work. Thanks!
  5. Thanks! The pictures, as always when doing product photography, obscure some of the mistakes. For example, on the handle, the cut of the edges is not straight and flush. Also, on the bottom corners, the finishing needs more care. Better butnishing and again, straighther cuts.
  6. Thanks. I really like how it turned out. Next one is gonna be even better
  7. Thannks! trying new things should be a must, and also reflecting on how you can improve each step of the process
  8. Finished this tote, it was a fun project, got to try new techniques, like the round handles and sewing from inside the bag which proved easier than expected. There are some things I would do differently, but I am very pleased with the result(and so is the owner) Made from 2 mm veg tan, painted with Angelus acrylic for the motif and Roc dye for the base coat. 0.65 thread at 4 mm spacing. Hope you like it, but critique is welcome and encoureged!
  9. Thank you! Hand stitched. 0.45 mm thread at 3 mm steps The inner layers are 0.5 mm, but the wallet is fully lined, so it ends up as 1 mm. The outer part is 1.2 mm plus lining 0.5 mm. I did not skive anything, the v pocket is 0.5 and folded only at the top. Hope I explained clearly, english is not my native language Thanks! Thank you!
  10. I use 0.65 or 0.6 at 4 mm spacing. it's a good look for me.
  11. I like the design. But for me, this type of wallet could work.better with some thinner thread.
  12. Thank you! It has some wobly stitching lines, and I forgot to crease the bottom edge all the way, but overall I am happy with the result. Thanks!
