  1. You're welcome......good luck
  2. Raremar I sympathize with your situation. I am sorry. Maybe pictuers would help out here with your sale. One or two would probably suffice. Best of luck
  3. I use a cam lever that I paid like $7 bucks for at the Woodcraft store. They are gold and made from aluminum, but the bolt is steel. They are used for varies machine jigs. I was worth the exchange from the typical t-nut. This store also carries other handles that might work for you. Check them out.
  4. Probably a stitching horse for this video since it show clips of sewing. It is a good video even though it is short and compact.
  5. Here is a link that I am passing on from my facebook. It is quite interesting. Take a look and enjoy what you can get out of it.
  6. CEM Glad you updated the post. I couldn't find it earlier to post this information. Apparently, you found out the same information that I did, but my contact provided me with this substitute for you. Sorry no source for ginghers. A good scissor is sold by Wolff Industries. Www.wolffind.com Under the Kai name. Good stuff. I hope this works out for you!
  7. Bear.....that is going to be the key. Mine had a bit of play, but I was able to take it completely apart and trim it bit to it's current state. Personally, if Ramrod is generously offering to negotiate a pick up for you and mailing...I would definitely go for it. I love me clam pony. Mount a base plate and it will work great for sitting situations where you want to stitch. Your awesome Ramrod. Way to help out! Very cool!
  8. Welcome to the forum Smoke10. Nice work.
  9. Word has been for a bit of time that they are slowing changing this. In fact, I bought a large Camo tool that was made out of stainless steel from Tandy. I was told that it was only in selected stores and they wanted to see how well they do. I don't know where it will go from here, but that tool has great grooves and bites really well.
  10. Very cool....thanks.
  11. I have a cam pony like the one on the right.
  12. Nice work Spinner!
  13. Welcome to the forum ChickenDave! Glad you stopped in for a visit.
  14. What a find.....I don't need one, but for that price, I am sure others on here could. Thanks for sharing!
  15. The picture was a bit big for me, but it appears that you did a good job. Can you resize it and post it again? Maybe about 35% of its current size? Welcome back!
  16. Welcome to the forum!
  17. Welcome to the forum!
  18. I would recommend that you contact Spinner or Leatherman1457 for advice. They are both experts in this area and run business that make burnishers. If I missed any one else....not intentional. Good luck.
  19. www.leatherwranglers.com They are in the leather knife business. I get my compound from them and they ship worldwide. I would also hope that some of our Aussie brothers and sisters will chime in and help you find something locally. Australia just had your Leather Dimension show, so I know that there must be some suppliers locally or least crafts people to help you out. If not, we have a local store that sells different rouge that I would be willing to get for you and ship it if you are willing to pay for the items. Let me know if you run into any problems. I have quite a few Aussie friends on Facebook that I can put you into contact with. Good luck.
  20. Anybody else got the ad from Tandy showing that 13 oz Russett color tooling leather. Nice color and for $89 a side. I will have to take a look tomorrow before our leather guild meeting.
  21. Beary......Welcome aboard. You have big shoes to fill, but looking at your beautiful mauls.........I see the Bearman has taught you well! Best of luck!
  22. First, I would curse at it and slap my head! Just kidding. I would ditto R Lenna's suggestion.
  23. I think the information is good and appreciate you taking the time to post it for some of our newer family members. I also use the green compound overall, but I have some yellow mixture that I have used in the past with my chip carving blades. Thanks again.
  24. It looks fine to me. Plus your friend was happy because someone he knew did something special for him.
