Retired Military Officer, did 22 years till I'd been all I could be. Currently retired from a large Department of Defense Contractor. Now I devote full time to fishing, leather craft and music. I have lived all over the world. I got started in Leather work in the 70's while stationed in Germany. The Army has "Craft Shops" and I went and saw what they had, I fell in love with two hobbies; Leather Work and Photography. I still enjoy both. I made a belt in the craft shop and got the bug, bought a kit and some tools from Tandy through the mail and started on my kitchen table, much to my wife's chagrin however, she likes leather work better than photography because I set up a dark room in the bathroom (She's a saint).

I live in a small town in South West Georgia (SOWEGA). I play bluegrass music in a couple of groups and old country music in another. I also play for a gospel group on the radio once in a while. I play Dobro, Guitar, Banjo, Bass and Harmonica, neither one very well but it's a lot of fun.

I have three beautiful grand children who are well supplied in purses, wallets and belts. They live in Atlanta but come to Papa's at least once a month.

I traveled a lot with my job and have been to many foriegn countries and exotic places, there's no place like home.
