  1. Thanks for looking and your comments guys, the lower strap is part of the base which as you can see forms the lower three inches of the bag side, so similar to a bowling bag design, which is where I got the idea from.
  2. Hi from the UK, thought I would show off a recent project I completed for my wife. Hand stitched, mock croc and nubuck outer, lined with a taupe lamb leather, British brass fittings except for the turn button which came from buckle guy, not able to find natural brass finish turn buttons in the UK unless somebody knows better. I designed the bag myself and made up a paper and card prototype before cutting any leather, the bag is large enough fro a 14'' lap top

  6. Good morning all from the UK, I purchased a job lot of small (4_5sqf) about 2 to 3 oz interestingly marked skins. The marking is similar to borbonese or partridge eye but not quite. I am not sure what I bought but it is a nice skin with a firm but soft handle. Any help would be appreciated, have a great day

Seasonal greetings from the UK, I am looking for some help with covering snap fasteners particularly the outer button, I have seen some great leather work where the buttons are covered in a similar leather to the product. Is there an easy way to perfect this look ? Any help would be greatly appreciated and happy Christmas to all,Regards Richard

  16. Hi these are a couple of my latest bags both wet molded, hand dyed veg tan,hand sewn (not round the zipper) designed and made in my work shop in N.Wales UK.
