Looks nice, I like the flash style look of the swallows and banner.

Someone on here a while ago mentioned liking the Swann Morton scalpel, I picked one up and definitely agree. It’s an oddly comfortable handle and works well for tiny curves and detail cutting.

Love it. Definitely one of the appeals of leatherworking for me is the sense that these materials and tools can be used to make something that’s been being made forever, or something totally new. Endless possibilities even with a limited toolset.

Ordered a paper catalog from you guys and wow it was more than I expected. Reminds me of poring over thick paper catalogs as a kid! I like shopping online but there’s something to be said for a nice catalog like that.

Doing jobs for difficult people with whom you need to keep on good terms can be the worst. Years ago my artist wife took a logo design job for someone from our church. Many, many, MANY hours later he had something he was satisfied with and she had determined that custom art wasn’t worth her while. We would see his truck around town for a while with the logo on the side and she hated the sight of it.

Whole lot of weird butthurt responses in this thread considering OP was just trying to meet the needs of a client with the skillset he had. If a fellow doesn’t want to use alternate materials for a client that’s fine, tell the client it’s not your gig and move along. If someone else wants to give it a shot and try for advice here along the way I don’t see why anyone should be offended.
We’re all here because we love leather, obviously - but I see nothing wrong with someone choosing to use their leather skillset on a different material to make a buck from a client who wants to pay for it.

Nothing wrong with that, all part of the process sometimes. Use fabric, paper, scraps, whatever it takes to figure out how the pieces are going to fit together to give you the result you want.
