  1. Hello. It's been raining for almost a week, and moist seems to affect my tools and making it rusty. I'm thinking if coconut oil if good? Any insights? I have pliers, wing divider, prong pliers, and few tools having rust. Although some can be easily wiped off, I still want to put something to avoid the rust. Thank you all.
  2. I have difficulty printing small stamps. This is what i made. My custom logo. The day I took this pic was the same day I broke the stamp. Lol
  3. Do you have a pic of that stamp? I haven't seen anything like that here.
  4. I heard it is really pain working with stingray lol. To have an idea, how much does it costs? I only got snakeskin, phyton scrap and crocodile scrap which will be useful for making watch strap. That's a nice wallet, btw.
  5. @garypl thank you! I have other skins I want to try soon
  6. @Rockoboy thank you for your help.
  7. Thank you @Rockoboy I've temporarily attached the outer shell, carefully marked holes, then remove and punched through before I glued and stitched together. It's difficult at first but I've managed to finish it
  8. I've been thinking alot about making a watchstrap out of snakeskin. A fellow leathercrafter gave me a scrap enough to make it. I am not good in making the pattern for it, that would actually fits my wrist but thought I should give it a try. After few hours, it's done and here's the finished product.. let me know what you think.
  9. @zuludog hello. Yes, I burnish the edges when I use vegetable tanned. I'm still practicing it on chrome tanned though, I have difficulty applying it. And the thread I use is a regular waxed thread that I buy locally. 1mm which is the only available.
  10. My homemade leather balm and the test result. It is not 100% waterproof, but gives you enough time to wipe water you spilled. Contains beeswax, carnauba wax, coconut oil and almond oil. There are many recipe online, it is up to you which you follow. There are more better recipe, but in my case, this is just my resources.
  11. Good day I am currently making a zip around wallet, I can't provide picture at the moment. I already punched hole on both inner and outer shell, but I'm having trouble attaching the cover. The holes just wont match. ;( any tips?

  15. Overjoyed to present this handctafted authentic LV wristwatch leather strap. The reason and aspiration to pursue this leather passion. Here is a simple video I put together. This was the first watchstrap I made. Hope you enjoy!
  16. A year ago, I was looking for a watch strap for my apple watch. It was really interesting to see how handmade leather straps are made until I came across a Youtuber's video of having a Louis Vuitton watch strap. So me not having a spare buckle laying around, it got me to browse other handmade items, then I ended up watching some tooling videos. I don't remember which of it made me to buy tools and stuff but heres one of my first item. Just got some starter tools for leather crafting P.S. I still haven't made myself a watch strap lol
