  1. Actually, after browsing around, Crimson Hides sells machines and tips and they’re dirt cheap. I’ll be purchasing from them once I decide to bite the bullet.
  2. I actually travel to W/C quite often to pick out my sides since they’re only a couple hours away. And I will say that the quality isn’t as great as it used to be. They’re top shelf sides used to be spotless. But as I was talking to my salesperson, I noticed a lot of new faces working behind the scenes. A lot of then people with 20, 30, 40 years of experience are retiring. Now you have a bunch of kids my age (young 20s) that are doing the job but just don’t care. It may be a rough next couple of years.
  3. 2” x 2” square? Is that stamp custom or did you purchase it somewhere? I’m highly interested.
  4. Does anyone know where I’m able to buy Vernis Edge Paint? I know Rocky Mountain Leather is one, but the colors I’m looking for are out of stock of course. Is there anywhere else that sells it?
  5. The color of that second one gets me. I love it. Saddlemakers are a special breed. That takes a lot of skill.
  6. It's one of the best decisions I made. I'm glad Jersey mentioned the bottles.
  7. So, I'm currently on the hunt for Glow-in-the-Dark Thread. I'd like for it to be 0.8mm or 1.0mm. I know about SewGlow but that's out of the question. I called them today to see when it's supposed to be back in stock and was told that more than likely it would never be back in stock due to the sales and cost to manufacture. Anyone know any other manufacturers?
  8. Does SewGlow ring a bell? Any pictures of it in the dark? I've been looking at their Glow in the Dark thread but I'd prefer to see real pictures as opposed to stock, ya know? It does look good though. Did you sew it by hand too?
  9. I use angelus myself. I've had good results. And the cost isn't bad. Personally, I don't thin it. It's usually thinned for airbrushed. Although I'd like to try it thinned at some point with the bottles.
  10. When you get them, cut 4 of the tips down about 1/2 an inch. Screw the 4 micro tips over the top. You're going to get a bunch of little metal rods, I'm almost positive you use those to clean out the tips. Or you throw them in the tips to keep the paint from drying out. Haven't used those rods yet so don't quote me on that. Just pour a little bit of paint in the bottle. Give it just a light, consistent squeeze and you're good to go. Just try not to let it sit in one spot once you squeeze it, keep it moving or else it'll spread in that spot. Use the smallest tip for 1/4 inch letters.
  11. http://m.ebay.com/itm/6-NEEDLE-TIP-APPLICATOR-BOTTLES-4-MICRO-TIP-SET-Great-For-Henna-/192032880342?epid=1331380619&hash=item2cb60d36d6%3Ag%3A-g0AAOSw44BYMfdf&_trkparms=pageci%3Ab5a34e44-9683-11e7-ae47-74dbd180c0ce%7Cparentrq%3A6e3965d115e0ab4d6d3827b8ffeabc13%7Ciid%3A12 I ended up buying these. Absolutely buy these ASAP. They're like a dream. Trust me. The IV Catheters I used off the ambulance didn't come close to these.
  12. Depends on what it's made of. I think if anything, it'll probably shrink first. If it's melting, you should probably be getting a knock on that fire or thinking of getting out of there.
  13. That inner tube gives it a neat look, it's different. Looks good! Where did you get the glow in the dark thread? If you don't mind me asking.
  14. I'll have to see if I can find them myself now. Like a form of challenge. Did you get started on the leash yet?
